Shipping & Returns

PPI Shipping Policy

Performance Parts International, LLC uses various ways to ship your order. At the time of order when placing an order through our website, you must select your preferred shipment method from the available options for the product you're ordering. In the event free shipping is offered as an option and you select that option, PPI will determine the method of shipment. Once the product is shipped from our location, the selected carrier assumes responsibility for the delivery of your order. Items that are delayed by the shipment carrier due to circumstances out of PPI's control does not warrant a refund or credit on that order. Various carriers no longer guarantee delivery within a certain timeframe. If you select an expedited shipping method such as UPS next day or USPS Priority, there is no guarantee your package will be delivered in that timeframe. In the event a package is delayed by the carrier, PPI will not issue a refund for that order. If a package is truly lost, the process of filing a lost package claim with that carrier will be performed. In the event a package was considered lost but does eventually arrive, the buyer must refuse the package and return it to the shipping carrier unopened to be returned to the sender. International orders can be placed with PPI but these orders must be placed by phone with our office. International customers must realize that any international orders once shipped are non refundable for any reason.

How long does it take to process my order?

We know you’re anxious to display your new PPI products so we make every effort to process orders within three business days. However, there are times when some items are on back order or must be assembled that could affect the date of shipment.

 

What are my shipping options?

We ship via UPS or US Postal Service (USPS).

Our "standard" shipping options include:

UPS 2nd Day Air

UPS 3-Day Select

These choices will be yours to select during the checkout process. The shipping rates for most of the items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Please Note: UPS will not ship to a PO Box or an APO/AE (military) address. Both USPS and UPS no longer guarantee delivery by a certain timeframe. This means if you purchased UPS Next Day delivery and the shipment does not arrive, PPI will not refund you you're shipping costs or refund your order. There is no recourse with UPS or USPS for not meeting a delivery date even if you paid for that level of service. It is highly recommended to select the most economical shipping method when placing an order.

 

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Packages shipped via UPS Ground should arrive in 1-6 business days (visit www.ups.com/maps/results for the UPS Time-In-Transit Map and enter “ 28117” in the zip code field), while most US Postal Service packages arrive within 6-10 business days.

If your order is placed by the 1:00 PM EST deadline, you can expect UPS Next Day Air shipments to arrive the next business day. However, if you requested UPS 2nd Day Air or 3-Day Select, the count doesn’t actually start until the next business day. For example: If you place an order on Thursday at 12:35 PM EST and select UPS 2nd Day Air, your package will arrive the following Monday. If you select UPS 3-Day Select, your package would not arrive until that Tuesday. We do not offer Saturday/Sunday delivery options for UPS.

Additional time-in-transit: From Nov. 21 to Dec. 30, a limited number of UPS Ground and UPS Standard packages, with transit times of three or more days, and with specific origins and destinations, will require an additional day in transit. All UPS 3 Day Select shipments tendered Dec. 19–24 will require an additional day in transit.

Delivery times may vary depending upon the items ordered and your location. Times also vary depending upon whether the billing and shipping information you provide is accurate. Please insure your billing address matches the billing address on your credit card statement in order to insure prompt delivery. This address WILL be verified with your bank and if they do not match EXACTLY, your order could be delayed and possibly canceled.

APO/AE Addresses:

If you are shipping to an APO/AE address overseas please be aware that shipping times increase to 2-4 weeks. As the package is handed from our courier to an untraceable mail service we are not able to track these packages. Without the ability to track the package we cannot provide insurance therefore we are not responsible for lost shipments, and a claim cannot be made once we provide proof of shipment from our warehouse.

International Shipments:

Orders shipped to an international address can take up to 4 weeks or longer to be delivered. Please keep in mind that there may be an additional delay due to the time the package takes to go through customs. Warranty for products only applies to the continental United States. Any product warranty claims outside the continental US requires the customer to pay all shipping and taxes incurred.

 

Where do you ship and where do you not ship?

We ship to all valid physical addresses and PO Boxes within the continental United States as well as internationally. However, we only use the US Postal Service for mailing to US Territory or international addresses. We will not ship internationally via UPS.

PPI Return Policy

You may return most new items that were purchased directly from us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less shipping cost. They must be returned in the original retail packaging with all parts/accessories. Items purchased from a dealer must be returned to that dealer so please be aware of their return policy prior to purchasing. We will not issue refunds for any PPI products purchased from other sources. This includes Amazon purchases. If purchased through Amazon, you must process a return through Amazon.  You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks after we receive your returned item, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This includes the time it takes us to inspect the item once we receive it, process your return (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). If you need to return an item, please contact us at 1-704-660-1084 for a return authorization number. You'll need to write this number on the outside of the return package. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. Returns without authorization will not be accepted.

PPI Exchange Policy

You may exchange most new items that were purchased directly from PPI within 30 days of delivery. Items must be returned in the original retail packaging with all parts/accessories. If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us at 1-704-660-1084 for a return authorization number. You'll need to write this number on the outside of the return package. Exchanges without authorization will not be accepted. You will be responsible for the shipping cost to and from PPI for an exchange, as well as any charge for a difference in product price.
